At the visit made by the Sector Boards and Fair Forum Commission of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD), the delegation was represented by Sector Boards and Fair Forum Commission Vice Chairman Ömer Karatemiz, Health Sector Board Chairman Hüseyin Sarpkaya and Chemicals, Metal and Mining Sector Board Chairman Muhittin Can.

Information was provided about MÜSİAD's general work, its sectoral activities and the active work of the Fair Forum Commission. In particular, discussions were held on a joint fair organization between İKMİB members and MÜSİAD Health sector members. Health Sector Board Chairman Hüseyin Sarpkaya put forward the proposal that the clustering programs organized by universities be conducted at the level of the institution. İKMİB President Adil PELİSTER stated that the work carried out on the future of the pharmaceutical sector and its investments should be supported. He also emphasized that the establishment of a Chemicals Technology Centre would be beneficial for the sector.

It was agreed that the establishment of a Chemicals Technical University would make important contributions to the sector. Muhittin Can, who provided information about the Chemicals sector of the MÜSİAD Head Office, stated that agreement had been reached on continuing sectoral work actively with MÜSİAD and on maintaining communication between institutions. At the end of the visit, the Orphan Sponsorship Certificate, a valuable gift from MÜSİAD, was presented to Mr. Adil Pelister by Vice Chairman Ömer Karatemiz, and the visit was concluded with a souvenir photograph being taken.
