President

Born in Akçakoca in 1977, Burhan Özdemir completed his primary and secondary education in Akçakoca. He received his bachelor's degree from the Department of Civil Engineering at Dumlupınar University in 2000 and completed his master's degree in Earthquake Engineering at The University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in the United Kingdom. Throughout his master's studies he published technical articles on advanced building technologies and earthquake engineering in the United Kingdom. He is currently at the doctoral thesis stage at the Institute of Middle East and Islamic Countries Studies of Marmara University.

Between 2002 and 2005 he worked as a design engineer in the Nuclear Energy Department in the United Kingdom of Jacobs Engineering, one of the leading technical consultancy firms of the United States. He served as project manager in the construction and commissioning projects of the nuclear stations of BNFL (British Nuclear Fuel Limited).

Burhan Özdemir was elected President at the 28th Ordinary General Assembly of MÜSİAD.

Currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group Companies, Burhan Özdemir is married with four children.
