Secretary General

Ahmet Dilsiz was born in Kırıkkale on 06.10.1979. He is married with three children. He completed his primary education at Mustafa Necati Primary School in 1990 and then graduated from Kırıkkale Anatolian High School in 1997. He completed his university education in the Department of Public Administration of the Faculty of Political Sciences of Ankara University in 2002, and in 2010 completed his master's degree in the Department of Business Administration of the Institute of Social Sciences of Kırıkkale University.

Between 2004 and 2007 he served as a candidate district governor at the Governorship of Çorum. In the same period he served as assistant district governor at the District Governorship of Keskin and as acting district governor at the district governorships of Beylikova in Eskişehir and Karakeçili in Kırıkkale. He served as district governor of Yağlıdere in Giresun between 2007 and 2008, of Samsat in Adıyaman between 2008 and 2010, of Adilcevaz in Bitlis between 2010 and 2013, and of Boğazlıyan in Yozgat between 2013 and 2015.

In July 2015 he became a branch manager at the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs of the Ministry of Interior, and in 2016 served as acting head of the same department. He served as a department head at the General Directorate of Local Administrations of the Ministry of Interior between 2016 and 2018, and then at the General Directorate of Provincial Administration between 2018 and 2019.

Between 2019 and 2022 he served as General Director of Investments and Operations of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and, as the founding executive of this general directorate, completed its organization. Throughout his term of office he directed and managed the design and realization of numerous stadium, youth, sports and dormitory facilities. On 15 September 2023 he was appointed legal counsel at the General Directorate of Legal Services of the Ministry of Interior, and on 2 December 2024 he was assigned as Secretary General of the Witness Protection Board.

In 2005 and 2006, within the scope of the overseas training of candidate district governors, he received language training for nine months in the city of Besançon in France and examined the French administrative structure at various institutions. In the districts where he served between 2007 and 2013, he carried out numerous projects in fields such as education, culture, health, youth and sports, agriculture and transport within the scope of the KÖY-DES, GAP and SODES programmes. Ahmet Dilsiz took office as Secretary General of MÜSİAD following the 28th Ordinary General Assembly of MÜSİAD and still holds this position.
