The Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) will organize a Diplomacy and Gourmet Meeting in Gebze, Kocaeli, with the participation of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) countries.
With the MÜSİAD Diplomacy and Gourmet Meeting to be held on 22 June 2021 hosted by MÜSİAD Gebze, it is aimed to improve relations between Türkiye and the BSEC Countries, to increase international trade diplomacy activities, and to encourage the branding of cities and gastronomy tourism.
At the event, which will also feature the İstanbul Consuls General and Trade Attachés of 11 BSEC member countries (Azerbaijan, North Macedonia, Georgia, Moldova, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, Serbia, Greece), Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Faruk Kaymakçı and MÜSİAD President Abdurahman Kaan will share their assessments.
At the meeting, the Trade Attachés will make presentations on subjects such as the countries they represent, business and investment opportunities, advantageous sectors, ways of developing trade, export and import products, solutions to commercial problems, and visa and travel procedures.
Within the scope of the event, consuls general and representatives of the business world will come together and hold networking meetings. The main theme of these important meetings has been determined as dwelling on the problems that arise during the increase of trade volumes and the conduct of commercial activities and on the proposals for the solution of these problems.
Making statements about the program, MÜSİAD Diplomatic Relations Committee Chairman Zeki Güvercin stated that within the scope of the program the participants will visit Türkiye Informatics Valley and the Automobile Joint Venture Group of Türkiye (TOGG) and will hold contacts there.
In his statement, Güvercin used the following expressions:
"Within the scope of the program, the participants will hold meetings with the officials of the high-technology companies located in Türkiye Informatics Valley.
During the visits, which will also include the Automobile Joint Venture Group of Türkiye (TOGG), information will be received about the Turkish Automobiles to be produced in 2023.
Following the Türkiye Informatics Valley tour, visits will be made to the factories operating in the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone.
At the end of the day, the meeting will come to an end with a special dinner to be given to the participants. Specially trained Turkish Chefs will make presentations on Turkish Culinary Arts and Gastronomy Tourism."
