"THE INVESTMENT WIND DIRECTED TOWARDS TÜRKİYE WILL CONTINUE"
Recalling that they operate in 95 countries abroad, MÜSİAD President Kaan touched on the importance of commercial diplomacy. While Kaan stated in his remarks that trade with the countries of the MENA region would continue to grow stronger, he emphasized that the investment wind from the Gulf region towards Türkiye would continue.
Kaan used the following expressions in his statement:
"While we carry out commercial diplomacy activities through our domestic and international branches, we analyse the expectations of our industrialists and businesspeople with field data, and thereby contribute to the correct determination of the areas of production and investment. We believe that with the visits we have carried out today we will further strengthen the reflections in the field of Türkiye-Qatar relations, which have gained great momentum especially over the last 10 years. Both Qatari businesspeople and Turkish companies operating in the region are quite pleased with the market between the two countries. God willing, in the coming period we will also exceed the USD 5 billion target we have stated previously."
Touching also on the projects concerning different sectors implemented by MÜSİAD, President Kaan stated that Türkiye is an attractive market for the businesspeople of the region.
Kaan also pointed to the nationwide projects that have gained pace recently, and emphasized that Anatolia, which is seen as an intercontinental logistics hub, will in the future become one of the most important centres of trade.
