The Names in the Saygı Library Believed That Gain Would Be Not Only in This World but in the Hereafter
Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) President Abdurrahman Kaan, who stated that the transfer of knowledge, accumulation and experience is one of the greatest components that constitute civilization:
“MÜSİAD, which is the outward expression of a great principle, of a life understanding that places the human being at the centre of a vision of civilization, is for this reason not constituted by individuals; but it carries colour from individuals. In every brick of this respected business association of ours there is the contribution of an intellectual, of an entrepreneur. They both existed at times when no one was around, when no one came forward, and they also formed a track, a path for other people and opened the way. In order to bring out this contribution of theirs and to pass on the vein from which MÜSİAD is nourished to new periods, and to ensure that this understanding increases manifold, we have started an important work. Our Saygı Library series, which we have prepared in order to connect a magnificent past to a glorious future, will fill an important gap. Because those included in this series acted in line with their beliefs both while earning and while spending; they are names who believed that gain would be not only in this world but in the hereafter.”
The work, prepared by the MÜSİAD Media and Culture Economies Committee, will continue with its other series planned to be launched in the coming period.
