Abdurrahman Kaan, President of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD), issued a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Anadolu Agency.
Kaan noted the following in his statement:
I wholeheartedly celebrate the 100th anniversary of Anadolu Agency, one of the most important institutions of our country, whose seeds were sown in the years of the national struggle and which announced the just struggle of the Turkish Nation to the whole world. Having made great progress together with a Türkiye that has developed and grown over the last 17 years and presenting developments to the whole world accurately and impartially, Anadolu Agency has become a respected and prestigious institution on a global scale with its century-old experience and its widespread organizational network. Anadolu Agency, by conveying the injustice and oppression in oppressed geographies, primarily Syria, Palestine, Mynmar, Somalia, Iraq, Gaza and Libya, to the whole world, became the voice and the breath of those subjected to persecution. In addition to all this, Anadolu Agency, which has also played a great role in the development of the press sector in our country, made very great contributions to the development of the sector by bringing many valuable names into it. On this occasion I once again thank the agency’s employees in the person of Director General Şenol Kazancı, and I wish continued success to our agency, which has emerged from the heart of our nation.
