MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı shared his assessments regarding the "My First Home, My First Workplace" project announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, which is the largest social housing project in the history of the Republic.
Emphasizing that the project, developed by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and brought to life in cooperation with TOKİ, is highly valuable with its inclusive three-pillar model, President Asmalı included the following statements in his remarks:
"We believe that the 'My First Home, My First Workplace' project announced by our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will make an important contribution both in the eyes of our citizens and to our country's economy through the economic activity it will create. We find it highly valuable that the project, which offers our fixed-income citizens the opportunity to acquire affordable housing, has been shaped in a way that is not limited to housing alone but also covers different areas such as workplaces and the provision of residential land on favorable terms. This project, presented in the form of a triple package, gains even greater meaning with the creation of residential land with ready infrastructure on which citizens can build their own homes. It is a gratifying development that the plan for residential land with completed infrastructure, which we proposed as MÜSİAD, has also been included in this project. As our President has stated, the project covering 500 thousand social housing units, 250 thousand plots of land zoned for housing and 50 thousand workplaces within a very short period of two years will be one of the most valuable projects in the history of the Republic. Together with this, as MÜSİAD, the investment and production activity we have brought to life also continues with the investments under way in all four corners of our country. In addition to the social housing project announced by our President, we will continue to increase our employment-supporting initiatives through our regional investments."
