INTERNATIONAL CONTRACTING AND FINANCE SUMMIT
Our main goal at the summit is to bring together the four main players that are necessary in order to achieve success in the field of international contracting. The careful coming together of these four main players plays a key role in the realization of successful projects. These four main players are as follows:
Companies or company consortiums that can bring international projects to life.
The representatives of the diplomatic missions in Türkiye, that is, the embassies or consulates, that will provide Turkish firms with projects that have international standing and for which state guarantees in particular can be given, or that will invite Turkish firms to these projects.
International investment banks and funds that will provide support in the financing of these projects.
It may be technically or in terms of capacity difficult for a single firm to carry out projects of a certain size on its own. Consortiums are formed for such situations. The processes of forming these consortiums must be conducted with the right contracts and with contracts that have international standing, and cooperation must be established with the legal consultancy and project consultancy firms that will manage these processes.
At the summit, by bringing these four main elements together, we plan to take important steps on the road to being successful in the field of international contracting.
It will be held at the MÜSİAD Head Office on 18 April 2024. The participants will predominantly be from construction/contractors.
