Distinguished members of our MÜSİAD,

Distinguished ladies and gentlemen,

I greet you all with respect and affection.

Welcome to the “MÜSİAD INVEST International Investment Networking Meeting”, which we are holding for the second time today; you have honoured us with your presence…

First of all I would like to state the following: MÜSİAD INVEST, a very special project we brought to life last year, is a comprehensive project in which the global experience of our MÜSİAD is combined with the investment opportunities of Türkiye.

MÜSİAD INVEST aims to support the demands of international investors by means of members who are experts in their fields, experienced and capable of providing services in foreign languages.

As you know, Türkiye, with its political stability, its strategic location, the size of its market, its strong industry, its diversity of production and raw materials, with its qualified young population, its advantageous investment incentives and its dynamic structure, is an attractive investment centre in the international arena.

Therefore MÜSİAD, within the scope of the responsibility it has assumed by virtue of its mission, brought the “MÜSİAD International Investment and Support Office” (MÜSİAD INVEST) to life with the aim of contributing to Türkiye’s international investment climate.

In line with this goal, we obtained extremely productive results at the gatherings we held for the first time last year. At our first meeting, held on 1 November 2023, we came together with 150 foreign investors participating from the MENA Region, which covers the Middle East and North African countries, and took important steps…

At this first meeting of ours, 300 MÜSİAD member business people were also present. On this occasion, I once again thank in your presence our members and the participants who attended our meeting…

MÜSİAD INVEST, as much as it aims to contribute to our country’s investment climate, at the same time attaches importance to establishing a qualified trade network with investors from all over the world.

We strive to take the steps towards this by setting certain targets before us at each of our meetings…

And today we are experiencing the pride and the joy of holding the 2nd MÜSİAD INVEST International Investment Networking Meeting with the participation of investors coming from the Turkic Republics and, once again, a large number of MÜSİAD members. God willing, it will be a productive day.

We have of course spoken of the priority objectives of MÜSİAD INVEST… But in order to make matters a little more concrete, it would be fitting to say a few words about what it will do and what method it will follow.

  • While offering high-quality and reliable guidance services with the aim of encouraging international business people to invest in Türkiye, MÜSİAD INVEST will at the same time direct investors quickly and accurately by means of its expert staff.
  • It will offer international business people the opportunity to work together thanks to MÜSİAD’s global trade network in our country and in 81 different countries, and will also introduce them to MÜSİAD’s portfolio of members providing high-quality and reliable services.
  • It will bring together with international business people the projects of MÜSİAD members that have been completed to a certain extent, or that are not yet completed but whose investment and feasibility studies have been carried out.
  • In addition to traditional investment models, it will also guide international investors in new-generation technology-focused investment areas.
  • It will provide investors with the contacts they will need with public and private sector bureaucracy and, by offering investor-specific services in projects at the strategic level, will contribute to the economic development of Türkiye and of international investors.
  • Alongside all of this, our office will support the demands of international investors by means of our members who are experienced and well equipped in their fields.

Thanks to MÜSİAD INVEST it will be possible to benefit from MÜSİAD’s vast experience in many different sectors and fields, not only in our country but in many regions of the world.

At our offices, in addition to consultancy on financial matters such as company formation, tax and accounting and auditing, you will also be able to benefit from various services such as consultancy on legal matters concerning company mergers and transfers and newly issued laws and regulations.

In addition, sectoral consultancy services on matters such as sectoral market research, investment consultancy, EIA and investment incentives for the manufacturing industry, agriculture, energy and real estate sectors and for the services sector such as health and tourism will likewise be provided here.

Besides these, it will also be possible to obtain corporate services such as virtual office, trademark and patent, human resources, training, customs and logistics, IT, promotion, insurance, fair organization, tourism, and translation and interpreting through MÜSİAD INVEST.

Distinguished participants,

Türkiye, as much as it is situated right in the middle of the global trade network, is at the same time located on the transit route of many commercial corridors. While our country’s foreign trade volume increases with each passing day, the trade we carry out especially with the Turkic

Republics increases markedly and mutually every year.

We consider it very important that business people from the Turkic Republics walk this road together with us, making use of MÜSİAD’s institutional memory in order to strengthen our commercial ties.

For this reason, we will continue in the period ahead to organize our MÜSİAD INVEST International Investment Networking Meetings in order to bring international investors with investment potential together with MÜSİAD members, and to receive very positive feedback from these meetings of ours, God willing…
