MÜSİAD Planning, Education and Culture Commission Chairman Dr. Savaş Yılmaz took part as a speaker in the 5th International Education Forum, first organized in 2008 and held this year for the 5th time at the TED Ankara College İncek Campus with the participation of Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer and guests from the national and international arena.
MÜSİAD Planning, Education and Culture Commission Chairman Dr. Savaş Yılmaz also delivered a speech in the programme, in which panels were held on Digital Obesity, Education and Digitalization, Politics and Digitalization, Childhood and Parenting in the Digital Age, and the Business World and Digitalization.
Alongside Dr. Savaş Yılmaz, who was a speaker in the panel “The Business World and Digitalization” moderated by Denizbank CEO Hakan Ateş, TOBB Board of Directors Treasurer Member Faik Yavuz and TÜSİAD Ankara Representative Barış Urhan also delivered their speeches.
In his speech, MÜSİAD Planning, Education and Culture Commission Chairman Dr. Savaş Yılmaz stated that after a certain period digital addiction produces the same results as addiction to classic substances such as alcohol and cigarettes. Touching also upon the reflections of this situation on the business world, Yılmaz emphasized the opportunities that digitalization provides for youth employment and its great economic return for the business world, and dwelt on the necessity of striking a balance between the two.
