MÜSİAD has commissioned a book for children entitled “Who Will Hold Us” about the 15 July Coup Attempt, the gravest attack in the history of our Republic.
MÜSİAD has prepared a book entitled “Who Will Hold Us” with the aim of passing the 15 July Coup Attempt, the gravest attack in the history of our Republic, on to future generations, ensuring that the treacherous uprising is firmly embedded in society’s collective consciousness, and enabling our belief in brotherhood, unity and solidarity to take root in every stratum of our nation.
Prepared with the understanding that our children, the guarantee of our future, should learn our country’s recent history and that the Spirit of 15 July should be passed on to coming generations, the work was written in the genre of tale and narrative. Prepared with colour illustrations and consisting of 48 pages in total, the book was written by author Kübra Gülşah.
Produced by Erdem Yayınları, the work conveys to our children, who will build our future, in a plain yet equally effective manner, the lesson in democracy given to the entire world through the resistance displayed by the noble Turkish nation on 15 July, and the powerful manifestation once again of the national will.
The book will be presented as a gift primarily to the children attending the “This Summer I Am at the Mosque-2019” summer courses organised in mosques across Türkiye by the MÜSİAD Youth Board (Young MÜSİAD), and to school students.
