MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı assessed the work carried out to re-establish business and commercial life in the regions affected by the earthquake. Pointing to the understanding of Qard al-Hasan, President Asmalı called on the business world to support this tradition.

Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) President Mahmut Asmalı assessed the steps taken to put commercial life in the disaster area back on its feet following the severe earthquakes centred on Kahramanmaraş. Drawing attention to the importance of business and commercial life in the region, President Asmalı stated that MÜSİAD supports its members affected by the earthquake with the understanding of Qard al-Hasan.

Expressing that they provide interest-free or grant capital support to MÜSİAD members in the region through the tradition of Qard al-Hasan, President Asmalı said: "I invite our business world to support and spread the understanding of Qard al-Hasan, inherited from our ancient traditions and our culture of mutual assistance. Today is the day to be one and together."

MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı made the following statements:

"Alongside our comprehensive work for our citizens affected by the earthquake in the disaster area, we are providing capital support to our members in the region through the MÜSİAD Qard al-Hasan Fund in order to put business and commercial life in the region back on its feet. In addition, by transferring the compulsory membership dues collected from our members to this fund with the understanding of Qard al-Hasan, we make them available, interest-free or as grants, to our members affected and harmed in such disasters and in cases of need, and we support their own resources. On this occasion, I invite our business world to support and spread the understanding of Qard al-Hasan, inherited from our ancient traditions and our culture of mutual assistance. Today is the day to be one and together. We will bind our wounds together and rise to our feet together."
