In the visit carried out by MÜSİAD Logistics Sector Board Chairman Mehmet Metin Korkmaz, consultations were held on sectoral problems and solution proposals. Representatives of various sectoral associations attended the meeting organized on the logistics sector.
The meeting, hosted by İstanbul Chamber of Industry President Erdal Bahçıvan, was attended by International Transporters Association (UND) Chairman of the Board of Directors Şerafettin Aras, Association of International Transport and Logistics Service Providers (UTİKAD) Chairman of the Board of Directors Bilgehan Engin, Heavy Transporters Association (AND) Chairman of the Board of Directors Yasin Bayraktar, Liquid and Bulk Product Transporters Association (LİKİTDER) Chairman of the Board of Directors Yusuf Tetik, All Container Logisticians Association (TÜMKON) Chairman of the Board of Directors İsmet Atalay, Logistics Service Providers Association (LOJİDER) Member of the Board of Directors Burhan Çakan, LOJİDER Member of the Board of Directors Engin Kargalıoğlu and UND Executive Board Deputy Chairman Elif Savrum. At the meeting, attended by the presidents and representatives of the sectoral associations providing services in the field of logistics, consultations were held on the current situation of the sector, the future of the sector, cooperation efforts, sectoral problems and solution proposals. As a result of the consultations held, decisions were taken with the aim of improving the sector.
