The “Agriculture and Food Sector Financing Meeting” program was organized by the MÜSİAD Agriculture, Food and Livestock Sector Board with the participation of Ziraat Bank Agricultural Banking Group Head Kemalettin Bayat and Ziraat Participation Bank Financing Products Management Department Head Gülten Atalı.
The program began with the opening speech and greeting message of MÜSİAD Agriculture, Food and Livestock Sector Board Chairman Emrullah Gökhan. Afterwards, a spiritual atmosphere was created with a recitation of the Holy Quran. In his speech, Gökhan provided information about the structure and the vision of the sector board.
The first speaker of the meeting, Ziraat Bank Agricultural Banking Group Head Kemalettin Bayat, shared comprehensive information on Ziraat Bank's agricultural activities, customer portfolio, types of loans and areas of loan use.
Ziraat Participation Bank Financing Products Management Department Head Gülten Atalı, for her part, gave a presentation on Ziraat Katılım's founding process, vision, fields of activity and the contributions it offers to the sector within the framework of Islamic finance.
In the international dimension of the program, a presentation titled “Supply and International Growth Financing Instruments for Turkish Companies” was delivered by the ITARE Financial Advisory delegation that came from Italy. The delegation shared its assessments on the opportunities for Turkish companies to access financing in global markets.
In the question-and-answer session held after the presentations, the questions of the participants were answered. The productive meeting laid the ground for new cooperation on access to financing in the agriculture and food sector.
The program ended with the presentation of certificates and a group photograph.
