A Consultation Meeting was held in Mardin with the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) Head Office and Branch members.
Our Consultation Meeting was accompanied by the Regional Director of Customs and Foreign Trade, the Regional Director of Transport, the MÜSİAD Mardin Branch President, our UND Board of Directors Member, the President of the Mardin Chamber of Commerce, the President of the Mardin Chamber of Agriculture and the representatives of our civil society organizations. At the meeting we held a panel entitled “The Ancient Route of Logistics: ‘’THE SILK ROAD’’. The opening of the panel was made by Logistics Sector Board Chairman Mehmet Metin Korkmaz. At the end of the panel, gifts were presented to the panellists. Following the programme, the first day of the programme was completed with a tour of Mardin.
On the 2nd day of our programme, a visit was made to the MÜSİAD Diyarbakır Branch. In the visit, held with the participation of the Foreign Trade Director of the Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce and the Diyarbakır Customs Director, the region's problems in terms of the logistics sector were raised. The programme was completed on Saturday 21 October after two days of visits.
