The Textile, Leather and Ready-Made Clothing Sector Assembly Meeting, held at the MÜSİAD Head Office by the MÜSİAD Textile, Leather and Ready-Made Clothing Sector Board, brought together the different stakeholders of the sector. Representatives from various sectoral associations, officials from professional chambers and experts in the field attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the fundamental dynamics of Türkiye's branding journey in the textile, leather and ready-made clothing sectors were addressed comprehensively. Within the framework of the question “What is Türkiye's DNA in the branding adventure?”, the sector's historical accumulation, production capability, design power and cultural heritage were evaluated.

Within the scope of the program, views were also exchanged on Türkiye's advantages in the sectoral branding process and on how the integration between design, raw material, production and sales processes could be strengthened so that these advantages are reflected more powerfully in the field. Participants shared their proposals regarding cooperation mechanisms, complementary activities, integrated working models and the development of incentive and support systems.

At the meeting, attention was also drawn to the importance of correctly conveying to the public the sector's contributions to the national economy in terms of industrialization, exports, employment, trade and added value. It was particularly emphasized that common communication strategies should be developed to change the misconceptions that have formed about the sector, that sectoral cooperation should be increased and that long-term projects should be implemented.

In the assessment made by the MÜSİAD Textile, Leather and Ready-Made Clothing Sector Board, it was stated that Türkiye's supporting its production power with high value-added brands is of critical importance in global competition, and that increasing coordination among sector stakeholders will make an important contribution to the branding process.
