The 9th Halal Fair of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation was organized at the İstanbul Expo Center between 24 and 27 November.

The fair, organized by MÜSİAD Services Sector Board Member Yunus Ete and Advisory Member Aylin Şengül, was attended by MÜSİAD Services Sector Board Chairman Faruk Güzeldere, Deputy Chairman Ali Tutuk, Vice Chairmen Hakan Erdem and Mehmet Ali Ketanci, as well as Sector Board Members Arda Tozak, Fatih Turan, Kenan Gözeten and Coşkun Gülmüş.
The event, which hosted nearly 40 thousand visitors from 32 different countries of the world, paved the way through B2B agreements for companies operating in fields such as food first and foremost, as well as cosmetics, textiles, finance and tourism, to take a larger share of the halal sector.
