At the meeting held between the Chemicals and Metal and Mining Sector Boards of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) and Deputy Minister of Trade Mahmut Gürcan, the leading important issues of the sector were addressed and cooperation opportunities were assessed.
At the meeting, Mahmut Gürcan shared that he is responsible for matters such as domestic trade, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Chambers of Industry, and emphasized the strategic importance of the Ministry of Trade. He also shared information about the work carried out to support Türkiye's exports, while the management of the MÜSİAD Chemicals, Metal and Mining Sector Boards expressed their views on current developments, needs and expectations in the sector.
A mutual exchange of views took place on issues such as trade policies, the situation in the sector, support for exports and the improvement of the investment environment. The meeting provided an important platform for strengthening communication between the sector and the government and for supporting the sustainable growth of the sector.
