A Cooperation Protocol was signed between the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) and İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim University (İZÜ).
The signing ceremony, held with the participation of MÜSİAD President Abdurrahman Kaan, İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bulut and MÜSİAD Academy Public-Industry Cooperation and Project Monitoring Committee Chairman Abdulsamet Temel, took place at the MÜSİAD Head Office building.
The agreement envisages cooperation between the two institutions in areas such as the preparation of R&D projects aimed at technology development at national and international level, the increase of incorporation and entrepreneurship, and the commercialization of new ideas and inventions within a scientific framework.
Within the scope of the project, it is targeted to submit R&D projects by benefiting from the funds of TÜBİTAK, KOSGEB, the Development Agencies, the European Union Framework Programmes and public institutions and organizations. It is thus aimed to bring the cooperation between academia and industry to a qualified level.
We Attach Importance to R&D and Innovation
Sharing his views at the signing ceremony, President Kaan stated that as MÜSİAD they attach great importance to education and training activities. He wished that the protocol signed with an institution that has reached a serious academic level such as Sabahattin Zaim University would be auspicious. Recalling the importance MÜSİAD attaches to R&D and innovation, Kaan also touched upon the fact that they are pioneers in the work carried out for the National Technology Initiative and on the value they attach to entrepreneurs who will benefit the country's development.
