A Cooperation Protocol Was Signed Between the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University
MÜSİAD, Türkiye’s largest and most widespread civil society organisation, has accelerated its activities in the field of culture and the arts following its move to the new Head Office building.
Having delivered many successful projects over half a century so that Türkiye may develop and become an influential country in its region and a respected one on a global scale, MÜSİAD continues to take significant steps towards the wider dissemination of Turkish culture and its recognition within society, following the achievements it has attained in the economic and political spheres.
In this context, a “Cooperation Protocol” was signed between MÜSİAD and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University with the aim of keeping Turkish culture and art alive, disseminating it and raising public awareness of our own cultural world.
The signing ceremony was attended by President Abdurrahman Kaan, FSMVU Rector Prof. Dr. M. Fatih Andı, FSMVU Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hüsrev Subaşı, and Faculty of Fine Arts member Betül Bilgin.
Speaking at the ceremony, President Kaan drew attention to the activities they have carried out over the years for the dissemination of Turkish culture and its recognition within society. Kaan said: "To this end, we first brought the exhibition 'Now and Eternity' by our esteemed artist Emire Konuk Közberi together with art lovers at MÜSİAD. We are continuing our exhibition activities in the period ahead. Within this scope, I am honoured to enter into cooperation with Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University, one of our country’s most distinguished educational institutions. God willing, through this cooperation we will contribute to social awareness by exhibiting works of culture and art belonging to our own essence and our own civilisation under the roof of MÜSİAD.”
Under the agreement, works of art produced by academics, students and other stakeholders in the university’s relevant academic units and centres are planned to be exhibited at the MÜSİAD Head Office Campus in particular, as well as at all of its domestic and international branches and stakeholders.
