The MÜSİAD Defence Industry Sector Board successfully held its first meeting of the 2023-2025 term at the MÜSİAD Head Office. At the meeting, leading figures of the sector came together and evaluated the plans for the coming period.
Sector Board Chairman Fatih Altunbaş addressed the strategies on the development of the sector and its future projects at the meeting. In addition, the members who will serve on the sector board in the new term also came together and exchanged views.
At the end of the meeting, MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı also delivered a special speech of thanks to the participants. Emphasizing the contribution of the defence industry sector to Türkiye's economic growth and national security, Asmalı stressed the importance of making use of the opportunities before the sector.
This meaningful meeting represented the first step taken in line with the goal of advancing further in Türkiye's defence industry sector.
