Simultaneously with the MÜSİAD Visionary'21 Summit, the Honorary Consuls Trade and Diplomacy Summit was held by the MÜSİAD Diplomatic Relations Commission at the Haliç Congress Centre. The summit was chaired by MÜSİAD Vice President Davut Altunbaş.
The Honorary Consuls Trade and Diplomacy Summit, organized under the coordination of the MÜSİAD Diplomatic Relations Commission, was held simultaneously with the MÜSİAD Visionary'21 Summit. At the summit, which took place at the Haliç Congress Centre with the participation of MÜSİAD Vice President Davut Altunbaş, Diplomatic Relations Commission Chairman Osman Nuri Önügören, Export Development Commission Chairman Abdulkadir Sıcakyüz, Commission Members, World Honorary Consuls Association President Emre Ete and honorary consuls, important matters concerning intermediary trade between countries, business opportunities and investment were discussed.
Attending the summit were World Honorary Consuls Association President and Honorary Consul of Honduras Emre Ete, Honorary Consul of Spain Dr. Zeynel Abidin Erdem, Honorary Consul of Honduras and former Minister of Health and Social Assistance and of Tourism Bülent Akarcalı, Honorary Consul of South Africa Remzi Gür, Honorary Consul of Kenya Abdullah Yeşil, Honorary Consul of the Republic of the Congo İlyas Keskin, Honorary Consul of Zambia in Gaziantep Özlem Işık, Honorary Consul of Senegal for the Aegean Region Ahmet Gökhan Koraltan, Honorary Consul of Paraguay for the Marmara Region Cengiz Deveci, Honorary Consul of Kyrgyzstan Bilal Tutuş, Honorary Consul of Lesotho Yunus Ete, Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Bursa Ahmet Yıldız, Honorary Consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina Hasan Topaloğlu and Honorary Consul of Malawi Selahattin Gönültaş.
At the summit, current information on business opportunities, exports, established trade and investment opportunities in the countries represented by the honorary consuls was addressed.
The honorary consuls gave information about the institutions in the countries they represent. It was decided that the agenda topics and details would be determined before the next summit and that the second one would be held at the Head Office, to convene again in April.
