MÜSİAD Village, which consists of 600 briquette houses and was brought to life in cooperation between MÜSİAD and the Sadakataşı Association under the coordination of AFAD, has been completed. The houses built within the scope of the project were delivered to their beneficiaries at a ceremony attended by Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu.
MÜSİAD Village, brought to life in cooperation between the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) and the Sadakataşı Association and built under the coordination of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) of the Ministry of Interior, has been completed.
The 600 briquette houses built within the scope of the project carried out in the Meşhed Ruhin area of the city of Idlib in northwestern Syria were delivered to their beneficiaries at a ceremony by Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu, President of MÜSİAD Mahmut Asmalı, AFAD President Governor Yunus Sezer and Sadakataşı Association President Kemal Özdal.
Speaking at the program, Minister of Interior Soylu said: "God willing, by the end of this year we will have completed 100 thousand briquette houses. In your presence I express my gratitude and thanks to MÜSİAD and to Sadakataşı for advancing in this caravan of goodness, and especially for having taken the step for the vocational high school that the esteemed president stated a short while ago they would build here. I say may God be pleased with them."
President of MÜSİAD Mahmut Asmalı, for his part, said in his statement: "Alongside our vision that adds value to our country's production power, we are broadening our field of activity with humanitarian diplomacy efforts. In this context MÜSİAD Village has been a project that makes hopes blossom. With the support of our nation and our members we will continue these efforts by strengthening them."
Along with the 600 briquette houses, many social facilities such as a health centre, a school and a playground for children were built in the village.
