The countdown has begun for the MÜSİAD EXPO 2022 Trade Fair, which will open its doors for the 19th time this year. Speaking at the press launch meeting of the organization, which will be held on 2-5 November at the TÜYAP İstanbul Fair and Congress Centre, MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı emphasized that industrialists, investors and entrepreneur business people from 124 countries will come together in İstanbul.
MÜSİAD EXPO, the most comprehensive general trade fair of Türkiye and the region, organized every two years since 1993 under the coordination of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD), will be held this year on 2-5 November at the TÜYAP İstanbul Fair and Congress Centre. Within the scope of the organization, in which more than 100 thousand visitors and exhibitors will be hosted in a fair area of 25 thousand square metres, a D8 Ambassadors Summit will also be held.
"MÜSİAD EXPO is increasing its sphere of influence with each passing period"
Making assessments at the MÜSİAD EXPO 2022 Press Launch Meeting held at the MÜSİAD Head Office, MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı said that industrialists, investors and entrepreneur business people from all four corners of the world will come together in İstanbul. President Asmalı also stated that, with the different events to be held within the scope of MÜSİAD EXPO, the fair will at the same time be a commercial diplomacy summit.
President Asmalı continued his words as follows:
"MÜSİAD EXPO, which will open its doors for the 19th time, will bring together industrialists, investors and entrepreneur business people from 124 countries in İstanbul. While the fair, held every two years, increases its sphere of influence with each passing period, it also reveals Türkiye's production potential. Thousands of business people who trade for the first time through MÜSİAD EXPO and reach global markets through this fair also make a serious contribution to the development of our cities in Anatolia. The various events to be held within the scope of MÜSİAD EXPO contain important initiatives towards commercial diplomacy. At the fair, where the D8 Ambassadors Summit will also be held for the first time this year, the IBF International Business Forum will additionally be held with the theme of Food Security and the Preservation of Progeny."
"Qualified purchasing delegations from more than 60 countries will visit MÜSİAD EXPO"
Stating that the qualified purchasing delegations from more than 60 countries at MÜSİAD EXPO have been shaped in line with the demands coming from members and that a product- and service-focused effort is being carried out towards target markets, President Asmalı said that they are targeting a business connection worth USD 5 billion within the scope of the fair.
MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı used the following expressions in his statement:

By also evaluating the demands coming from our members, we will bring our business people together directly with their counterparts in different product and service items. Speaking at the MÜSİAD EXPO 2022 Press Launch Programme, İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager of TÜYAP Fuarlar Yapım A.Ş., for his part emphasized that MÜSİAD EXPO is being organized in a hybrid format and that a fair-organizing vision in which the privileges of the digital world are combined with face-to-face communication will be presented.
Ersözlü made the following statements in his speech:
