The Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) held high-level contacts in Kuwait within the scope of the Kuwait Business and Organization Trip. Within the framework of the program, the first visit was made to the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Kuwait, Ms. Tuba Nur Sönmez. In the meeting, Türkiye–Kuwait economic relations, the investment climate and the cooperation opportunities between the business worlds of the two countries were addressed.
Later within the scope of the visit program, bilateral business meetings were organized hosted by the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce. The program was attended by the delegation of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and business people from both countries. In the program, a comprehensive presentation was delivered on MÜSİAD’s organizational structure, global outreach network, international activities and the cooperation opportunities it offers to its members.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Kuwait, Ms. Tuba Nur Dönmez, also attended the program held at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and delivered messages aimed at strengthening Türkiye–Kuwait economic relations.
In the final part of the program, the delegation visited the Kuwait Union of Investment Companies. During the visit, investment opportunities in Türkiye, the possibilities of joint funds and project development, and the development of long-term economic partnerships between the two countries were evaluated.
MÜSİAD officials emphasized that the contacts in Kuwait will pave the way for new cooperation between the business worlds of the two countries, and expressed their determination to deepen Türkiye–Kuwait economic relations further.
