International Cooperation Agreements (MoU) were signed with 20 new organizations from 4 continents at the MÜSİAD EXPO Trade Fair, which the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) organizes every two years.

MÜSİAD, which has signed a total of 193 agreements with various institutions and organizations to date, also signed International Cooperation Agreements (MoU) with 20 new organizations from 4 continents at the MÜSİAD EXPO 2020 Trade Fair. Thanks to the newly signed protocols, steps will be taken towards developing exports and trade between Türkiye and the countries with which the agreements were signed.

The "Goodwill Agreements/Memoranda of Understanding" signed at MÜSİAD EXPO 2020, primarily with the trade and economy organizations of countries in the international arena, make an important contribution to the development of mutual cooperation and trade in terms of improving bilateral relations.

The partner in the country where the memorandum is in place adds the MoU partner institution to its list and includes it in the talks during significant trade delegations, investment delegations or initiatives to increase bilateral trade potential. The bilateral and trilateral goodwill cooperation agreements it actively uses serve as an important bridge in this sense.

Through the MoU cooperation agreements concluded within the MÜSİAD Diplomatic Relations Committee, the aim is to identify the counterpart organizations that will create these opportunities for the target institution and its members, to sign MoU agreements with these institutions and, through the talks to be held following developments, to plan organizations that will deepen cooperation.

Under the signed protocols, it is planned to hold separate meetings with the MoU partners twice a year, to receive support from these institutions during the sector-based business trips MÜSİAD will organize and at the same time to provide support to their delegations when they come to Türkiye, for the parties to assist one another regarding the commercial information members wish to obtain about the country, to carry out sector-based B2B activities between the members of the institutions at least once a year both physically and virtually, and to announce to each other's members the fairs, sectoral trips, country special days and similar announcements of commercial importance.

At MÜSİAD EXPO 2020, while MoU agreements were concluded with the Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture in Tanzania and Lebanon, agreements were signed with the Employers' Federation in Pakistan and with KOBİA, the country's counterpart of KOSGEB, in Azerbaijan.

Within the scope of the fair, agreements were also signed with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Tajikistan, Guinea and Pakistan, the Foreign Trade Chamber in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Turkish-Iranian Industrialists and Businessmen Association in Iran, the Mosul Chamber of Commerce in Iraq, the Global Investors Association in Lebanon, the Libyan Businessmen Council and the Misurata Free Zone in Libya, the Santiaga Chamber of Commerce in Chile, the Afghanistan International Chamber of Commerce in Afghanistan, and the Türkiye Honorary Consuls Association. In addition, Uruguay and Tunisia were also among the countries with which MOU agreements were made. Besides this, 4 of the signatures came from YOUNG MÜSİAD; among these organizations, MoU protocols were signed with Al Sharq Forum, Youth Impact, NYA and Great Silk Way International Youth Union.
