A Business Development Meeting was held between the Machinery Sector Board and the Construction and Building Materials Sector Board at the MÜSİAD Head Office.
The meeting began with Machinery Sector Board Chairman İsmail Somalı and Construction and Building Materials Sector Board Chairman Cemil Yüksekdağ introducing themselves. At the meeting, which continued with the members of the Sector Boards also introducing themselves, the members gave information about their fields of activity. The meeting, which saw intense participation, led to the emergence of new commercial relations between the two sector boards and to increased recognition. After the members introduced themselves, B2B talks began and mutual cooperation opportunities were discussed.
Construction Sector Board Chairman Yüksekdağ gave information about the Türkiye Consultation Meeting (TÜİT) programme they will hold in September. Touching on the problems experienced by the real estate sector, Yüksekdağ stated that the construction sector turning into irregular structures in the future could harm family life and the concept of family. It was emphasized that this programme, in which information will be conveyed on cities being planned as a result of the effects of the earthquake in İzmir on people, is an important subject. An important programme in which urban transformation and horizontal architecture will especially be discussed will be carried out.
The issue of industrial estates, the fundamental problem of the Machinery Sector, was addressed. It was mentioned that there are no factories within industrial estates in major cities and that the high rents put considerable pressure on manufacturing companies.
