Members of the MÜSİAD Machinery Sector Board came together in the spirituality of the blessed month of Ramadan and organized an iftar programme. Many important names from the sector came together at the event, which was held at the MÜSİAD Head Office. Delivering the opening speech of the programme, MÜSİAD Member of the Board of Directors and Machinery Sector Board Chairman İsmail Somalı shared with the participants the work carried out between 2021 and 2024 and the developments in the sector.
Somalı emphasized the importance of being in unity and solidarity in order to overcome the difficulties facing the sector and to move further forward. Former Machinery Sector Board Chairmen and MÜSİAD members who are successful in their sector attended the iftar programme.
The programme, which was also held with the participation of Turkish Standards Institution President Mahmut Sami Şahin and former Minister of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdede, drew attention to the importance of the sector and to the need for it to be supported.
At the programme, the work that could be carried out to reinforce unity and solidarity in the sector and the targets for the coming period were also put on the table. The participants strengthened their communication in order to increase cooperation and to reinforce solidarity in the sector.
It was stated that such events contribute to the further strengthening of the sector by enabling the stakeholders in the sector to come together in cooperation and solidarity.
