The Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) brought 10 thousand saplings together with the soil within the scope of the event it organized in İstanbul’s Şile on the occasion of Forest Week. The program carried out by MÜSİAD was realized in cooperation with the General Directorate of Forestry.
At the event held with the participation of MÜSİAD President Burhan Özdemir, the Deputy President and board members, association members and their families also took part.
With the project brought to life under the name “MÜSİAD Memorial Forest”, the aim is to contribute to nature and to leave a lasting legacy for future generations. With the saplings planted within the scope of the event, a concrete step was taken to raise environmental awareness and for a sustainable future.
In the statement made by MÜSİAD, it was emphasized that this meaningful effort strengthens the bond established with nature and carries the aim of leaving a lasting mark that will be a breath for future generations.
