Following the regional acquaintance and consultation meeting, important visits were paid to public and sector representatives
The MÜSİAD Agriculture, Food and Livestock Sector Board brought sector representatives together with the regional acquaintance and consultation meeting it held in Sakarya. At the program, which took place with a large turnout, important assessments were made regarding regional cooperation and the future of the sector.
The meeting began with the opening and welcoming speeches of Sakarya Branch President Ahmet Cihan and Agriculture, Food and Livestock Sector Board Chairman Emrullah Gökhan. In the continuation of the program, the members attending from the region introduced themselves and shared information about their fields of activity.
Sakarya Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Asım Baş, who attended the meeting, also delivered a speech and shared his assessments regarding agriculture and food activities in the region. Sector Board Chairman Emrullah Gökhan, who then took the floor, drew attention to the increasing strategic importance of agriculture and food on a global scale. Gökhan shared comprehensive information about the work carried out by the sector board, the activities held, the Supplier Days and the planned projects.
The program came to an end with a group photograph taken after the question-and-answer session.
Following the meeting, a visit was paid to Sakarya Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Asım Baş within the scope of the program. At the meeting, regional agriculture, food and livestock activities and possible cooperation opportunities were discussed.
In the final part of the program, Sakarya Commodity Exchange President Mustafa Genç was visited. During the visit, consultations were held on cooperation opportunities for the agriculture and food sector and on regional development issues.
