MÜSİAD Brazil President Umut Eker and his family attended the welcoming ceremony for our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his wife Mrs. Emine Erdoğan, who attended the G20 summit held in Rio de Janeiro.
As part of this special moment, Umut Eker’s 11-year-old son Servet M. Eker presented our President Erdoğan with a replica of the first Santos jersey worn in 1956 by Brazil’s legendary footballer Pele. Likewise, his 13-year-old daughter M. Yağmur Eker presented a special painting depicting the welcoming of President Erdoğan and his wife Emine Erdoğan by Brazilian President Lula da Silva and his wife Rosangela Silva. These meaningful gifts by the family members drew great appreciation as a symbolic expression of the friendly relations between Brazil and Türkiye. The ceremony was the scene of unforgettable moments for both Turkish and Brazilian participants.
