A cooperation protocol was signed between the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) and the Presidency of Strategy and Budget with the aim of increasing the private sector’s competitiveness and public-private sector cooperation on the way to achieving the targets set in the 11th Development Plan, which will be implemented until 2023.

Within the scope of the protocol, the relevant bodies and members of MÜSİAD and the relevant units of the Presidency of Strategy and Budget will work jointly or in coordination, on the basis of public benefit and voluntarism, towards the targets set within the framework of the 11th Development Plan.

Within this framework, MÜSİAD will contribute to the work aimed at implementing the Development Plan, at increasing the competitiveness of our companies and at managing resources effectively, and joint studies and activities will be carried out to improve the investment climate and to develop production and trade.

While the subjects of work and the units that will carry out joint work are determined within the scope of the protocol, thematic working groups may also be formed to meet regularly on matters requiring comprehensive evaluation in the joint work subjects. Mutual participation will be ensured in meetings, seminars, workshops and similar activities organized within the scope of the joint work subjects.

A high-level meeting will be held at least once a year in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the work relating to the protocol.
