The MÜSİAD Digital Technologies Sector Board opened a digital technology classroom in the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa. The classroom was set up at the Siverek Science and Art Centre (BİLSEM) and will provide students with training in fields such as 3D game design.

Following an approximately 2-month preparation and installation process carried out by the Sector Board, the infrastructure of the classroom was completed and made ready for students' use.
Speaking at the opening, Siverek District Governor Salih Sak thanked those who contributed and expressed his wish that it would prove beneficial.

MÜSİAD Digital Technologies Sector Board Chairman Hakkı Kılınç recalled to the AA correspondent that they had decided on the project 2 months earlier.

Stating that they had carried out the opening of the MÜSİAD Digital Technology Classroom, Kılınç said: "Since technology is exactly our field too, we spoke with my colleague Sertaç and determined that there was such a need. We quickly took a decision, identified the needs of our school and set up our classroom accordingly. And today we held its opening."

School Principal Sertaç İlhan, for his part, expressed that the existing infrastructure fell short for 3D game designs and noted the following:

"At this point, even though the technological tools sent to us by our ministry were adequate, they fell short for high-level games. MÜSİAD contacted us and told us how they could help us. We stated that we needed computers particularly for 3D game designs. They did not turn us down and sent us our computers."

The opening of the classroom was attended by Siverek Mayor Ali Murat Bucak, Commander of the 107th Artillery Regiment Colonel Hüseyin Burma, MÜSİAD and protocol members, teachers and students.
