An important protocol was signed between the MÜSİAD Digital Transformation Sector Board and İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim University (İZÜ) with the aim of strengthening university-public-sector cooperation. MÜSİAD Digital Transformation Sector Board Chairman Taha Çiftci and board members attended the signing ceremony.
Visit to the University and the Technopark
After the protocol ceremony, the faculty and the laboratories were toured, hosted by İZÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçük and Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Hakan Gençoğlu. In addition, an introductory meeting was held with the managers of İZÜ Teknopark.
The 7+1 Internship Programme Is Beginning
Within the scope of the protocol, the MÜSİAD Digital Transformation Sector Board will launch a special internship programme for fourth-year students studying in the Computer and Software departments of the İZÜ Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. In this programme, which will support applied education through the 7+1 education system, students will work five days a week at MÜSİAD member companies; a cooperation protocol was signed with a total of seven companies with the aim of providing them with practical experience in fields such as web-based software development, mobile software development, DevOps, artificial intelligence, cloud-based systems, blockchain and cyber security.
The Report “Cyber Power: Türkiye's Transformation Strategy in Digital Defence” Was Presented
During the meeting, the report titled “Cyber Power: Türkiye's Transformation Strategy in Digital Defence”, prepared by the MÜSİAD Digital Transformation Sector Board, was presented to Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar, one of the faculty members of İZÜ.
An Important Contribution to the Digital Future
This cooperation will contribute to Türkiye’s digital transformation process while allowing students to experience the most up-to-date technologies and applications in the sector and to grow into the digital leaders of the future.The companies that supported the cooperation were thanked, and it was emphasized that this initiative is an important step in bringing qualified human resources to the sector. At the end of the ceremony, MÜSİAD Digital Transformation Sector Board Chairman Taha Çiftci presented the Orphan Sponsorship Certificate, one of MÜSİAD's social responsibility projects, to Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar.
