The MÜSİAD Energy and Environment Sector Board successfully held the sector's first "Sector Assembly" meeting at the MÜSİAD Head Office. The meeting, which saw intense participation, brought the sector's stakeholders together on the same platform.
In addition to the Sector Presidents of the Alanya, Bandırma, Batman, Denizli, İzmir, Trabzon, Tekirdağ and Bursa Branches, former Sector Board Chairmen, current Sector Board members and the doyens of the sector took part in the meeting.
In addition, a large number of academics competent in their fields, representatives of the public and private sectors and representatives of associations and civil society organizations also took part in the meeting. The assembly meeting, which took place with broad participation, brought together all the components of the sector and strengthened the understanding of collective wisdom.
At the meeting, the current situation of the energy and environment sector, forecasts for the coming period, the structural and operational problems encountered and proposed solutions were addressed comprehensively. The participants shared their views and experiences for the sustainable development of the sector and held fruitful consultations.
While it was hoped that this important gathering, which aims to contribute to the future of the sector with an understanding of collective wisdom and strong cooperation, would be a means to good outcomes, all the Assembly members who participated in and contributed to the meeting were thanked.
