We still have a long way to run

Speaking at the opening ceremony of MÜSİAD EXPO 2024, Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat said that Türkiye conducts USD 605 billion of goods and USD 170 billion of services trade, and that with an income of USD 1.2 trillion it has become a very important country in the global arena.

Saying, "Our vision is the whole world. We will make the Century of Türkiye the century of trade," Bolat continued his words as follows:

"The point we have reached is, thank God, a point that no one could have imagined 22 years ago, under the leadership of our esteemed President. They see this very well from outside, they appreciate it, they envy it. We are a country that has been completely renewed in its infrastructure and superstructure, that has become a great production and supply centre, that has achieved access to the whole world with its ports, logistics centres, airports and airlines, that successfully carries out the Customs Union with the European Union and that has issued an invitation at the negotiating table in order to extend this to the services sector as well."
