A branch of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) was opened in the Yüksekova district of Hakkari.

The MÜSİAD delegation headed by MÜSİAD President Abdurrahman Kaan descended on Hakkari. Beginning its Hakkari program with a visit to Governor İdris Akbıyık, the MÜSİAD delegation, besides protocol visits such as those to Hakkari Yüksekova Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Abdurrahman Pınar and Yüksekova Esendere Mayor Dırbaz Büyüksu, also paid visits to the factories and workplaces of MÜSİAD members in Hakkari, and examinations were carried out on regional development and on increasing production and employment.

At the MÜSİAD Hakkari Branch Opening Program held in Yüksekova, MÜSİAD President Abdurrahman Kaan said that MÜSİAD is the most effective and widespread capital platform in the field, encompassing Türkiye and the world from end to end.

Stating that MÜSİAD has penetrated as far as the country's economic capillaries and moves forward with the strength that comes from mastering the finest field knowledge, Kaan noted the following:
"With its steadily growing presence in the field, MÜSİAD is a capital ambassador, an investment agency and a commercial, economic and diplomatic organization of our country both at home and abroad. When it comes to inter-state relations, it is at the same time a voluntary platform that prepares multilateral economic and commercial relations. We must develop new business models suited to the new economic system of the new world order. In this context, as MÜSİAD it has become a superstructure element that manages the main strategic components of this new world order being established and that undertakes work to increase new Türkiye's role in having a say on the geopolitical atlas of the world, while at the same time bringing capital of every scale together under one roof through its committees and their projects."

Hakkari Governor and Deputy Mayor İdris Akbıyık, for his part, stated that MÜSİAD has undertaken important duties in terms of presenting capital to the Turkish economy.

MÜSİAD Hakkari Branch President Adnan Öveç also said that MÜSİAD is the pioneer of domestic and national capital in the country.

Expressing that MÜSİAD is an institution that does not forget morality, virtue, the Akhi culture and those in need, and not only in the economic field, Öveç said: "Since 1990, MÜSİAD has represented more than 11,000 members and over 60,000 enterprises at home and abroad. It is a strong civil society organization that provides employment for 1.8 million people, serves at 89 contact points at home and at 225 points in 95 different countries abroad, and conveys members' problems, views and suggestions to public institutions and organizations on site."

AK Party Hakkari Deputy Husret Dinç, Provincial Police Chief Salavat Mete Pınar, AK Party Hakkari Provincial Chairman Abdulmuttalip Özbek and NGO representatives attended the opening.
