The MÜSİAD Malaysia Branch was opened with the participation of Malaysian Prime Minister Enver İbrahim, Türkiye's Ambassador to Kuala Lumpur Emir Salim Yüksel, the MÜSİAD delegation headed by MÜSİAD Vice President Davut Altunbaş, and Turkish and Malaysian business people. MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı, who sent a video message to the program participants, stated that the MÜSİAD Malaysia Branch will be a base for trade with the countries of the region.
The Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) continues to strengthen its international organization. MÜSİAD, which continues its activities at 165 points at home and abroad, opened a branch in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.
The MÜSİAD Malaysia Branch Opening Program, which was also attended by Türkiye's Ambassador to Kuala Lumpur Emir Salim Yüksel, also brought together Turkish and Malaysian business people.
At the Gala Dinner Program held within the scope of the MÜSİAD Malaysia Branch Opening Program, Malaysian Prime Minister Enver İbrahim shared his assessments regarding Turkish-Malaysian commercial relations and cultural ties.
MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı also sent a video message to the Gala Program. In his assessment, in which he drew attention to the bonds of friendship and brotherhood between the two countries, President Asmalı said that the MÜSİAD Malaysia Branch will be a base for trade with the countries of the region.
Malaysian Prime Minister Enver İbrahim, speaking at the program, drew attention to the strong ties between Türkiye and Malaysia and emphasized the importance of joint work by the business people of the two countries.
In his statement, Prime Minister İbrahim stated that Türkiye and Malaysia are two important partners in regional trade and expressed that the Malaysian government will continue to strengthen the business-to-business network between Malaysia and Türkiye and will continue to host companies in the country in order to explore the various trade opportunities in Malaysia.
Ambassador Emir Salim Yüksel, who guided the MÜSİAD delegation within the framework of the MÜSİAD Malaysia Branch Opening Program, stated in his assessment that the MÜSİAD Malaysia Branch will play an important role in developing the commercial relations of the two countries and new areas of cooperation.
MÜSİAD Vice President Davut Altunbaş, who headed the MÜSİAD delegation in Malaysia, drew attention to the importance of international cooperation in regional trade and invited Malaysian investors to Türkiye.
MÜSİAD Malaysia Branch President Sabri Yardımcı, for his part, emphasized that the MÜSİAD Malaysia Branch will be a bridge between the business people of the two countries.
Within the scope of the program, Malaysian Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Tengku Zafrul also came together with the MÜSİAD delegation and held consultations regarding regional business and investment opportunities.
MÜSİAD will expand its cooperation with MATRADE, MIDA and FMM
The MÜSİAD delegation in Kuala Lumpur within the scope of the MÜSİAD Malaysia Branch Opening Program also came together with representatives of the Malaysian business world and held consultations aimed at strengthening regional and international cooperation.
In this framework, the delegation headed by MÜSİAD Vice President Davut Altunbaş came together with the Chairman of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) Reezal Merican and the Chairman of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Sulaiman Mahbob.
In the meetings held, an exchange of views took place on strengthening the commercial relations of the two countries and on the areas of cooperation that could be created for Turkish and Malaysian business people to work closely together.
At the same time, while business and investment opportunities in Türkiye and Malaysia were addressed within the scope of the program, a cooperation protocol was signed between MÜSİAD and the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM).
Within the framework of the program, a B2B Business Development Meeting was also held, and business people in the region showed intense interest in the event.
Assessing the contacts made within the scope of the Malaysia program, MÜSİAD Vice President Davut Altunbaş stated that MÜSİAD will expand its cooperation with MATRADE, MIDA and FMM in the coming period.
Within the scope of the MÜSİAD Malaysia program, MÜSİAD International Organization Commission Chairman Selim Sar, MÜSİAD Diplomatic Relations Commission Chairman Osman Nuri Önügören, MÜSİAD Export Development Commission Chairman Ahmet Cihaner, MÜSİAD International Organization Commission Vice Chairman Mustafa Yücel and MÜSİAD Switzerland President Şerif Yıldız held contacts, while MÜSİAD members from all four corners of Türkiye participated in the business development meetings in the region.
