MÜSİAD Mannheim successfully held its 2024 general assembly. The event, organized with the intense participation of business people coming from various regions of Germany, of association members and of the protocol, continued with the gala dinner held after the general assembly.
At the General Assembly meeting, the speech delivered by MÜSİAD International Organization Commission Chairman Selim Sar was one of the most striking moments of the program. Selim Sar shared important assessments on how MÜSİAD has become a power in the international arena with the mission and vision it has pursued since its foundation. Emphasizing that, under the guidance of the motto “High Morality, High Technology”, they aim to create a Medina Market model that combines morality and innovation in the business world, Sar stated that the association is a source of inspiration for the business world not only in Türkiye but on a global scale.
In his speech, Sar touched upon the important developments in MÜSİAD's international structuring. Stating that during their term in office the number of international representative offices was raised from 77 to 99, Sar said that today MÜSİAD operates at 84 points domestically and at a total of 27 points in 15 countries abroad. Stating that a strong structure has been created in Germany alone with 11 branches and representative offices, Sar emphasized that MÜSİAD has assumed a pioneering role not only in commercial relations but also in social and cultural projects.
Stating that commercial ties among members are strengthened through events such as MÜSİAD EXPO, Visionary, the Power of Türkiye Awards, Sectoral Meetings and Purchasing Days, Selim Sar expressed that they also contribute to society through humanitarian aid and social projects. Stating that they serve humanitarian values both in Türkiye and abroad through value-oriented projects such as UTESAV, the Goodly Loan and the Zimem Ledger, Sar also spoke of MÜSİAD's contributions to international commercial diplomacy and to sectoral cooperation.
At the general assembly, thanks were extended to Turan Tirsi, the previous term president of the MÜSİAD Mannheim branch, and wishes of success were conveyed to the newly elected president and board of directors. The gala dinner organized after the meeting offered networking opportunities to the participants and took place in a sincere and refined atmosphere.
