The Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) contributed to global diplomacy by taking part in the 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum and held important bilateral meetings.

The 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum, held under the auspices of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and hosted by our Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Hakan Fidan, became one of the important meeting points of global diplomacy. This year, more than 6 thousand participants from 155 countries came together with the leaders of various countries and exchanged views on diplomacy and international cooperation.

Within the scope of the forum, MÜSİAD maintained its active role in international relations and introduced the association's structure and vision along with its strong organizational network abroad. Important bilateral meetings were held under the leadership of MÜSİAD Vice President Davut Altunbaş and with the participation of Osman Nuri Önügören, Chairman of the Diplomatic Relations Commission. In these meetings, MÜSİAD's contributions in the field of global entrepreneurship and economic solidarity were shared with regard to Türkiye's diplomatic vision.

At the forum, the messages given by our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan against global injustices, above all in Gaza, were an important call for the international community. MÜSİAD emphasized that it will continue its work for a just world order, that it will contribute to the country's diplomatic vision and that it will strengthen entrepreneurship and economic solidarity on a global scale.

At the forum, in the meetings held with the participation of 21 Heads of State and Government and 64 Ministers from 155 countries, the efforts carried out so that conflicts and disputes may come to an end with lasting solutions through diplomacy, dialogue and cooperation were of importance. In this context, MÜSİAD will continue to address global issues and our common future together.

In the meetings held with the high-level leaders attending the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, MÜSİAD's active role in diplomatic relations once again came to the fore. Among the leaders met were TRNC President Ersin Tatar, Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council Abdülfettah El Burhan, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Azerbaijani President İlham Aliyev, Syrian President Ahmed Şara, former Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Feridun Sinirlioğlu, Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs Levent Zeki Gümrükçü, Burhanettin Duran, Nuh Yılmaz and Mehmet Koray, President of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq Neçirvan Barzani, former Deputy Prime Minister of Italy Luigi Di Maio, Mozambican Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Lucas, Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs Olivier Nduhungirehe, Bangladeshi Minister of Foreign Affairs Tavhid Hassan, Bangladeshi Minister of Information Mahfuj Alam, Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Emil Hurezoonu, Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Huseyin, Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs Hasan Şeybani, Saudi Arabian Minister of Foreign Affairs Faysal bin Ferhan, Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Yousif Alsharif, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanıçbek Ömüraliyev and BWA President Micheal Schumann.

In the written statement made by MÜSİAD, it was said that it had successfully completed the 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum in terms of diplomacy and that, as always, it will continue to contribute to the development of global diplomacy, to strengthen international cooperation and to establish strategic diplomatic relations on behalf of the country.
