MÜSİAD President Abdurrahman Kaan, who attended the ‘Our Sources of Pride’ program organized by the Bakırköy İmam Hatip Schools Graduates and Members Association (BAKİMDER), came together with the students and shared his experiences.
MÜSİAD President Abdurrahman Kaan met with the students at the ‘Our Sources of Pride’ program organized by the Graduates and Members Association of Bakırköy İmam Hatip High School, from which he himself graduated.
Sharing his life experiences and his memories from the school desks at the event, Kaan advised the young people: “Do not remain confined to a narrow field, equip yourselves, read a great deal, and move forward with patience and determination, just as the waves of the sea strike the shore.”
“Our İmam Hatip Graduates Are Our Country's Source of Pride”
Continuing his remarks by saying, “The title of this program has been set as ‘our sources of pride’. Yes, our İmam Hatip graduates are our country's source of pride. The road we travel in pursuit of what is right, and the ledger of accounts in our hand at the end of that road, show the worth of an entire lifetime before humanity and in the sight of God. As we advance along this arduous road, every step of which is filled with the difficult trials of the self, we are obliged to strive not to deviate from the compass drawn by our faith and our values. Whichever period of our life we may be living, by whatever work we may be earning our living, the right road is one, and not to deviate from it is our essential duty as servants of God and as human beings,” Abdurrahman Kaan also answered the students' questions in the program.
Bakırköy Mufti Selami Aydın, District National Education Branch Director Erol Demir and the BAKİMDER management also attended the program.
