MÜSİAD EXPO 2024, held for the 20th time this year, played an important role in carrying Türkiye's trade vision to the world stage. At the event, in which more than 500 foreign purchasing delegations and business people from 94 countries took part, more than 300 companies from 24 sectors such as machinery, construction, food, energy, the defence industry and advanced technology took their place.
Speaking at the opening of the fair, MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı stated that Türkiye has been a centre of trade in every period of history and explained that these ancient lands located at the heart of the Silk Road have always been in the position of being the centre of production, of trade and of creating added value.
MTO went to MÜSİAD EXPO with the motto “MÜSİAD, the biggest networking in space” and made a name for itself frequently with its successful fair participations. The executive board members under the leadership of MTO Chairman Faruk Güzeldere drew attention with the performance they displayed at MÜSİAD EXPO. At the fair, the work they carried out especially towards increasing their activities within the country attracted interest.
Throughout the fair, the executive board members of the MÜSİAD Trade Office did important work in the field of networking with the stand visits they organized by dividing the sectors into groups. These visits offered the opportunity to lay the foundations of productive cooperation with companies both at home and abroad. With its participation at the EXPO, the MÜSİAD Trade Office at the same time created an important infrastructure at the point of generating new business opportunities.
