The European Side Region 7 members, who convened under the chairmanship of MÜSİAD Trade Office Chairman Faruk Güzeldere, came together at a 3T Networking meeting to evaluate cooperation and opportunities. MÜSİAD President Mr. Mahmut Asmalı joined the meeting, at which there were more than fifty participants, by telephone and addressed the participants.
On 11.06.2024, a meeting was held with MÜSİAD Trade Office (MTO Chairman Faruk Güzeldere, MTO Deputy Chairman Hakan Erdem, MÜSİAD Automotive and Transport Vehicles Sector Board Chairman İsmail Altın, Qard al-Hasan Board of Directors member Sertip Akşahin and the European Side Region 7 members. At the 3T Networking meeting, at which there were participants from many different sectors, emphasis was placed on getting acquainted and on the culture of doing business together. During his address, Faruk Güzeldere used the following expressions: “According to the results of the survey we conducted in order to understand the wishes of the members, the expectation of increasing commercial relations among members was quite high. Our Trade Office, which was established during the term of our president Mahmut Asmalı, was set up for this purpose, so that the culture of doing business together may develop among you. In this period, in which it is aimed to carry the Republic of Türkiye, whose 100th year we are living, to better points, creating a strong MÜSİAD will mean creating a strong Türkiye. We believe that together with a strong Türkiye we will contribute both to the increasing prosperity in our country and to peace in the World.After our 3T Networking acquaintance meeting, the 17th of which we are holding, we wish you, our valued members, to strengthen communication among yourselves and to advance this acquaintance.May our meeting be a means to good things, God willing.” Then, taking the floor, MTO Deputy Chairman Hakan Erdem said: “I would like you to become members of MÜSİAD Connect, which we have put forward in order to advance cooperation among members and to contribute to the digitalization process, which is open only to our members and completely free of charge, with the aim of increasing cooperation among our members and enabling them to trade with the assurance of MÜSİAD. With this application you can create pages belonging to yourself and your company and increase your trade.I hope that our meeting will be a means to good things.” Qard al-Hasan Board of Directors Sertip Akşahin, for his part, used the following expressions: “Qard al-Hasan, which is put on the agenda at almost all the meetings organized by the MÜSİAD Trade Office, carries quite great importance for all of us. Through this practice, which was carried out in the time of our Prophet, it was aimed to put forward a new understanding against the interest-based financing system and to spread goodness. With this fund, in which according to current figures savings of approximately TRY 40 million have been formed, we have provided interest-free loans to many of our members who wished to access financing. My request from the participants here is that you become a part of this family by becoming a member of Qard al-Hasan. I thank those who contributed to the meeting and the participants.I hope that our meeting will be a means to good things.”
After the protocol speeches were completed, the getting acquainted among members began with the one-minute presentation method. Our meeting ended with a tour of the Teska Armatür company where the meeting was held and the taking of a group family photo.
