Under the auspices of the MÜSİAD Trade Office, a 3T Networking programme was organized with the members of Region 1 (Ümraniye, Maltepe, Çekmeköy, Beykoz). Following the opening speeches of MTO Chairman Faruk Güzeldere, Talha Arslan took the floor to introduce MÜSİAD Connect and MTO Vice Chairman Hakan Erdem to present Qard al-Hasan. In his speech Faruk Güzeldere said, “In the outputs obtained from the surveys conducted among MÜSİAD members, the lack of trade that MÜSİAD members carry out among themselves was mentioned in the top three. The MÜSİAD Trade Office, established in line with the decisions of our President Mr. Mahmut Asmalı, was founded for this purpose. With the 3T Networking events we hold, we aim to increase our members getting to know one another.” Talha Arslan, for his part, said in his speech, “MÜSİAD Connect is an online platform opened only for our members. Here you can create your own and your company’s pages and develop your trade with other MÜSİAD members.” Hakan Erdem, who delivered the Qard al-Hasan presentations, said, “Qard al-Hasan means a goodly loan given to God. With the revenues we obtain here, we aim to provide support to our members who are in difficulty and who do not wish to fall into the trap of interest.” The meeting ended with a group photograph after all our members introduced their companies and themselves.
