"As MÜSİAD, we work diligently to keep alive in the best way the values inherited from our culture"
In his speech relating to the event, MÜSİAD President Asmalı congratulated the ladies attending the program on 8 March International Women's Day and assessed: "As MÜSİAD business people, together with our sisters, we have struggled with all our might for more than 30 years for the prosperity of our country and for our bright tomorrows, and we continue our struggle."
President Asmalı continued his statement with the following words:
"MÜSİAD, which sprouted from Anatolia and spread to the four corners of the world, does not merely build bridges of trade; with its human-focused value chain it also sheds light on the world of the future. As MÜSİAD business people, together with our sisters, we have struggled with all our might for more than 30 years for the prosperity of our country and for our bright tomorrows, and we continue our struggle. Today, while we build the future of our business world with structures such as Young MÜSİAD and MÜSİAD Women, we take even greater pride in the achievements of our young people. As MÜSİAD, our goal is to contribute to the development of our young people and to the accumulated experience of our members not only with our work in economic life but also with our social and cultural activities. We are expanding our activities even further with the projects brought to life within the scope of our cooperation in different fields and the contacts we establish with various institutions and organizations. In this context, at the workshop event we held with our Ak Yuva Foundation in recent weeks, we hosted the girls under its protection at our Head Office. Today we have come together with the aim of bringing the values prepared with the contributions of our sisters to more people. As MÜSİAD, we say let it be women's day not only on 8 March but for 365 days. I say this as a member of a 32-year marriage, as the father of 3 daughters and as the owner of 2 granddaughters. In my life and in my education, my late mother mobilized herself. I can say clearly that behind every successful man there is a woman. Therefore the doors of MÜSİAD Women are wide open to our sisters. In order to encourage the participation of our female members in business life, we have also revised our membership conditions in favour of our sisters. Today, as we come together on the occasion of 8 March, I congratulate the female members of our MÜSİAD family and all our guests on International Women's Day; and I wish success in their work to all my brothers and sisters who aim to leave a far brighter future to new generations with their projections focused on social responsibility, employment and education."

In this context, by holding our International Awareness Summit as MÜSİAD Women on 14 June, we aim to make an important contribution to the value chain being built.
