The Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) held the programme of its 107th General Administrative Board in Karaman. At the programme, organized with the participation of many domestic and international members, important projects and visionary projects for the future were put forward.
MÜSİAD's 107th General Administrative Board Programme took place in Karaman with great participation, bringing together more than 500 MÜSİAD members from approximately 75 provinces of Türkiye. The General Administrative Board, organized with the aim of contributing to the development of the business world and the economy, began with a visit by MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı and Members of the Board of Directors to Karaman Governor Engin Sarıibrahim at his office. Afterwards the delegation came together with Karaman Mayor Savaş Kalaycı and Karaman Chamber of Commerce Chairman Mustafa Gökhan Alkan, and views were exchanged about Karaman's economic and commercial activities in the region.
The 107th General Administrative Board, which lasted 3 days with MÜSİAD members who came to Karaman from all four corners of Türkiye, began with the Presidents Meeting. In simultaneous meetings held at the same time, the chairmen of the Domestic Organization Commission, the International Organization Commission, the Business and Trade Development Commission, the Sector Boards Commission, the Corporate Relations and Communications Commission, Young MÜSİAD and the MÜSİAD Women's Commission came together with the branch commission chairmen. At the meetings held, visionary ideas and cooperation opportunities that will contribute to Türkiye's economic growth were put on the table.
After an intense and productive first day, Karaman Governor H. Engin Sarıibrahim attended the dinner programme held with the high participation of MÜSİAD members. In his speech, Governor Sarıibrahim conveyed his thanks to the Board of Directors and to Karaman Branch President Musa Akgül for the contribution the MÜSİAD General Administrative Board made to Karaman.
The Independent Private Venture Capital Investment Fund is coming into play
On the second day of the General Administrative Board, MÜSİAD Head Office and successful branch projects were shared with the members. After the branch presentations, Ercan Güner, General Manager of Hedef Portföy Yönetim A.Ş., gave the members information about the Independent Private Venture Capital Investment Fund.
He stated that while the fund created aims to become an important instrument for strengthening Türkiye's entrepreneurship ecosystem and contributing to the growth of the business world, it will be a reliable platform for entrepreneurs to bring their innovative business ideas to life and to contribute to the growth of the business world. The Independent Private Venture Capital Investment Fund aims to become part of a vision oriented towards Türkiye's future by supporting many important projects in the fields of the business world and entrepreneurship.
In the afternoon presentations of the second day, in his presentation on the “Medium-Term Program (OVP) and the Global Economy, Prof. Dr. Nurullah Gür shared with MÜSİAD members the details of the programme, which serves as a guide that will increase predictability for the public sector and the real sector, so that it may be better understood. Afterwards, Board of Directors Member Ünsal Sözbir stated that while the 2023-2025 MÜSİAD Strategy Plan focuses on Türkiye's goals for the future, on the other hand it will also fulfil its responsibilities towards social development. Within the scope of social responsibility, the guests who came to Karaman that same evening toured the city, listened to the problems of the tradesmen and did shopping. In addition, they paid the debts of those in need by purchasing from the tradesmen the ledgers of the Zimem Ledger practice, in other words the credit ledger, an ancient Ottoman tradition that MÜSİAD keeps alive.
On the last day of the General Administrative Board, the MÜSİAD Vice Presidents made detailed presentations to the members about the two-year activities of the coming period that they had prepared in line with the 2023-2025 MÜSİAD Strategic Plan. In his closing speech, MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı said: “With our Board of Directors, our High Advisory Council, our Young MÜSİAD; with our MÜSİAD Women Presidency, our sector boards and our commissions; with our branches, our staff and our domestic and international organizations; in short, together with all our members, we are working heart and soul for our nation and our country in order to realize the great and strong ideal of the “Century of Türkiye”.
The “Century of Türkiye” vision put forward by our government will be one of our most important motivations on the path to bringing out our country's potential. In the hundredth year of our Republic, a national economy growing with domestic and national technologies will surge forward with the strength and support of Anatolian wisdom. With great responsibility and sensitivity, we will continue to work with our ever-present enthusiasm and determination on the path to realizing our ideal of a strong Türkiye. MÜSİAD has come to this day with faith, with love for the cause and with patience. God willing, we will shape the future together as well.”

This great event that MÜSİAD held in Karaman also provided an opportunity to promote Karaman's economy and business world.
