In the services sector, the stagnant appearance of business volume continued in this period as well and a decline was observed in the rate of increase of the index.

As a result of these developments, the SAMEKS Composite Index, which came in at the level of 51.2, indicated that the buoyant outlook for economic activity continued in September 2023 as well.

In addition, with its average of 50.8 points for the 3rd quarter of the year, the SAMEKS Composite Index showed that economic growth is continuing. However, by remaining below the averages of the previous two quarters of the year, it signalled that the rate of increase lost momentum in this period.
