In December 2025, the seasonally and calendar adjusted SAMEKS Composite Index decreased by 0.4 points compared with the previous month and stood at the level of 51.3.

In this period, the Services Sector SAMEKS Index decreased by 0.1 points on a monthly basis and stood at the level of 49.8. The Industry Sector SAMEKS Index, on the other hand, decreased by 2.1 points compared with the previous month and stood at the level of 52.8.

While business volume and suppliers' delivery time in the services sector supported the general course of the Composite Index, in the industry sector the improvement in input purchases and in suppliers' delivery times made a positive contribution to the index. These developments reveal that a gradual expansion in economic activity is continuing.

The fact that the seasonally and calendar adjusted SAMEKS Composite Index remained above the threshold value with 51.3 points in December reveals that the recovery in economic activity is continuing and that the business world is preserving its growth momentum.
