Within the scope of the 16th IDEF Defence Industry Fair held at the TÜYAP Fair Centre, a notable visit took place. Minister of Trade Mr. Ömer Bolat paid a special visit to the Chairman of the Defence Industry Sector Board Mr. Fatih Altunbaş and the officials of the Turaç company.
During the visit, the importance of the fair in the field of the defence industry, Türkiye's targets for increasing its defence capabilities and the supports given to domestic defence industry projects were discussed. Minister Bolat emphasized the importance of the steps to be taken for the development of the sector and the success of national defence projects.
While the Chairman of the Defence Industry Sector Board Mr. Fatih Altunbaş informed Minister Bolat about the current situation of his sector and future cooperation opportunities, the officials of the Turaç company also had the opportunity to present information to Minister Bolat about the contributions and projects of their institution.
Minister Bolat emphasized the necessity of supporting growth in the field of the defence industry in addition to contributing to Türkiye's economic stability, and stated the importance of cooperation between institutions and the government.
